Supervision
As an accredited Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the areas of community disability, health and mental health; Anita is qualified to provide Social Work Supervision that will meet the requirements for Social Work accreditation with the AASW. Supervision for service coorindtors and support coordinators is also available. Engaging in supervision with an experienced Social Worker can assist and support you to grow in your coordination skills and experience and is a useful way to provide a framework and develop a deeper understanding of the work. Supervision can also assist by providing recommendations for interventions and to promote self care and reduce burn out for the coordinator.

Training
Anita also worked with the NDIS in a role that applied reasonable and necessary legislation to recommend how this is to be applied into plans. This understanding can be used to develop and deliver training for your teams or individually. Understanding legislations and how impairment determines NDIS funded supports is a valueble skills for anyone engaging with the NDIS.

Training can be developed and provided in the following areas;
- Understanding the NDIS legislation; how to apply reasonable and necessary. Understanding the changes and how to define and assess impairment within the new framework.
- Understanding other service systems; this includes understanding the mental health systems and legislation, understanding Guardianship and Administration, health system
- Assessments in social work and functional capacity assessment; addressing reasonable and necessary and impairment and recommending NDIS funded supports.
